Brave girl, 12, tells judge: Never let my father out!

A 12-year-old girl propped her stuffed bunny on a lectern Monday and told a judge she never wants to see her father again.
It was the final phase of a sickening incest case that a Bronx prosecutor called one of the worst she had ever seen.
"I want to ask you to send my father far away and never let him out," said the brave little girl, wearing pigtails and braces, at yesterday's sentencing in Bronx Supreme Court. "I wish in my heart that he was not my father."
Judge James Kindler heard her plea.
He sentenced Victor Perez to 95 years to life in prison for 26 counts of abuse, including multiple counts of rape and incest, when his daughter was 9 and 10 years old. The sicko dad created more than 40 videos documenting sex acts he forced her to perform during court-ordered weekend visits to his home. She's heard screaming and crying for him to stop.
Perez did not look at his daughter while in the courtroom Monday, but shook his head when she said she never wants to see him again. The girl's family walked out of the courtroom in tears after the sentence was announced.
Assistant District Attorney Danielle Pascale hugged the family, as did Detective Freddy Perez of the Bronx special victims unit, who followed the case from the beginning.
"She's a brave little girl," he said. "This is the beginning of a new life for her."
